Where: Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad, India
When: Late morning hours of March 2012
Nehru zoological park, commonly referred as Hyderabad Zoo, located in outskirts of south of Hyderabad city, is a delight for animal lovers and budding photographers. One can get to shoot a varied and beautiful sightings of mammals and birds, in a decently controlled environment.
Personally, for me, this shot was one of my early attempts to graduate from still shot to action shot. This painted stork seemed to be purposely taking off slowly from the highest branch of the tree as if to cooperate with the budding photographer in me to complete his shot.
